My daughter and wife really like the book and I find it will give us plenty of things to do together. For that and the creativity I give it 5 stars. But I wanted to point out that most of these recipes are, get a box of cupcake mix and the "accessories" to make the "fun stuff" like specific candies or what not. There are a few recipes where they tell you how to make the cupcake from scratch. Those seem great. But most use a premixed box as the basis. This isn't necessarily a bad thing especially if you don't have the time but I thought it's important to let people know this. I think it would have been great if each had a recipe from scratch and then a premixed version as well. But honestly I can see how that would be too good to be true/ overkill.
It's got great creative visual ideas but doesn't really focus on the baking/making of cupcakes. Just thought it'd be helpful for people to know.

I purchased this cookbook as a gift for my granddaugher who is 7 years old. She enjoys helping me bake cookies and cupcakes. The illustrations are colorful and east to follow. Great gift. Great buy. Certainly recommended!

I bought this book for my daughter-in-law for X-Mas and she was totally thrilled.
An avid baker of cupcakes for her kindagarten class, she was extremely happy.
Would totally recommend this to any baker with lots of kids!!!!!
