This book is unique and intruiging. It amazes me that the author could combing such humor, family history, and actual great recipes. I loved this book and would recommend it to all. It is not just a cookbook, it's a real get into it read.

This book is a fun collection of 'exotic' southern recipes with great stories of the south thrown in for entertainment. Keep it handy the next time you need to make rattlesnake stew - or beef stew for that matter!

This book will give you some social history along with some very unusual recipes one of which is rattle snake stew. It's like no other cookbook you'll ever get and well worth having.
