Good idea, bad execusion,
This review is from: FreeLoader Solar Charger (Pink) (Electronics)
I bought the non-pink version of the Freeloader. It looks good and is simple to use but mine only worked for a single charge. The product description said it was iPhone compatible but I think the iPhone pulls too much current for the Freeloader to work properly. I followed the instructions but after the first successful charge of my phone, it fails to charge anything now. I really wish I had better news because it seems like a great little gadget. Perhaps it would work for smaller devices. I couldn't return it becasue I purchased it from overseas and the cost of returning it would have nearly equaled the cost of a new one.

No Way!,

First, I didn't buy this for $159 plus $30 S/H. I paid $70 + $8 so I could take it backpacking with my iPhone. It will not work with an iPhone with a dead battery. It charges its' own battery and feeds that to a device. It will not power an iPhone. Worthless for what I wanted or what it's advertised to do.
