Real help from real parents, offered in a fun, easy-to-digest format, sets Stuffed Animals on the Ceiling Fan apart from the pack. With two feet planted firmly in the realities of parenthood, Silvana Clark presents positive and creative ways to discipline, motivate, and encourage children. Clark's tips, collected from seasoned moms and dads, hit all the "hot button" issues on the homefront.
-Tired of stressful morning hassles? Find out how one mom had her lollygaggers dressed and ready to go the moment they rolled out of bed. -If you don't pick up these toys I'm throwing them out!" Sound familiar? Discover how one clutter-weary mom made good on her threat-with great results! -What parent hasn't had to contend with a picky eater? In this book, a family gets a reality check from mom that abolishes whiny mealtimes for good.
Each page contains two brief tips on a parenting dilemma: one with typical "expert" advice and another from a parent who has been there. Instead of overloading parents with too much information, Clark's ideas jump-start readers with ways to make their households run smoother-and have fun doing it. Stuffed Animals on the Ceiling Fan may be slightly off-the-wall, but the good news is, these tips really work!
