This is a great album, but please do not take Moshes advise. Buy this one, not the two on one. The two on one does not sound that great and the artwork is not good. If you are a true ARA fan, buy Stacked Deck and Too Stuffed to Jump seperate!

Despite the sound quality being a little dodgy this is one of the great albums of all time. I have to admit i got a little misty eyed when I listened to Dancin the Night Away. The only version I had was a well worn tape recorded from a well worn LP so This is what I have been waiting for. I know there are a lot of great contemporary acts around but you can't beat the classics.

As Good As An Album Gets!,
By Mary Hunt (Lake Charles, La. United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Too Stuffed to Jump (Audio CD)
This has been one of my favorite albums for 25 years! The perfect blend of Southern Rock, Memphis Blues, and Country. Russell Smith and the boys at their BEST! 'Byrd' Burton is one of the FEW who could make a Les Paul sound the way ol' Lester intended. Even the album cover is one of the top ten ever! A MUST BUY !!

The must own CD for your collection,
By "ericels" (Chandler, AZ United States) - See all my reviews

This is and has been one of the best albums to come out of the Seventies music scene. While there was jazz/rock fusion this is the best recording of country swing/rock fusion there is. Put this one on your player and try to keep your feet from moving. The smile on your face will last for days as you play this over and over. The playing on all songs is fantastic and Barry Byrd Burton is the most under rated and unnoticed guitar players of all time. The cover can't be beat either. Buy this one.

What can I say? If you knew the Amazing Rhythm Aces and liked them, then the only review is: Did the CDs come as described?.. YES. I could not tell the difference between new and these used ones and the shipping that was estimated at possibly 3 weeks only took about 4 days.
Expensive albums, but I knew that when I ordered them. Both albums, Stacked Deck and Too Stuffed to Jump were purchased through Amazon.com but came from "carnack53" [...] If I get the urge to buy any more old and out of print CDs to replace my old, lost or damaged LP records, I'll check Amazon again to see if they are available from carnack53.

Coming up Aces,

After all these years just to listen and see the guys live was quite fulfilling.Still awesome in 2007. Dancing the Night Away and the End is not in Sight are two great folksy southern rock songs that can never be duplicated. What an incredible amount of music mix on one disc. Buy it and have your kids listen to.

A Genuine Gem!!,
By Bill Taylor (Romney,WV) - See all my reviews

Finally, after all this time, this music made it to cd and decided to come back home!! I've been a believer of the Aces and their particular style(s) of music ever since Stacked Deck. These guys could (and still can,I've witnessed two superb concerts in the past two years)do it all. Tight playing, outstanding song writing by Russell Smith, eclectic musical styles, and above all,a real love of it all, these guys are grammy winners to boot!! I can't pick one tune that stands out on this set,the set just effortlessly flows into one fantastic piece of AMERICAN MUSIC! When all around me where listening to glitter rock, the Zep,etc,I was holding all the "ACES" and so should you!! As real and relevant now as it was then. Thanks guys!

5* cd but dont buy this one,
This review is from: Too Stuffed to Jump (Audio CD)
This is one of the greatest country rock LP of all time, but just dont buy it, there is another release of this LP with their first LP "Stacked deck" together holding 74 minutes of one of the best bands in the 70's. So go for the other release, and see my review there.
