My Mothers favorite even if it's the only stuffed animal she has. It reminds her of a passed Pet Dachshund. Mothers visitors are taken back by the realism, on their first meeting they don't realize it's a toy until it hasn't moved for a few moments.

When I got this, I wasn't expecting what I got. When I got the box, it was very small, and I suddenly thought the dog would be small too. But when I took the dog out, I was very pleased! The whole plush "unfolded" and it looked the same as the dog in the picture! I was impressed with how realistic the dog looked, and it would make an awesome gift for anyone.

I got this as a gift. The quality of fur is very nice, and the dog is absolutely adorable (which can't be said for half of dachshund stuffed animals out there, in my opinion). The body is firm enough to stand on its own. My only complaint is that the fur "grows" on this stuffed animal in the wrong direction - so when you pet the dog, you have to go from back to front.
