This watch is made with an attention to detail found in watches you'd pay thousands for. People will ask to see it and will not believe what you payed for it. I especially like the band. Once adjusted to size,you can put it on and take it off like a braclet. You'll find yourself wishing someone will ask the time, but you'd better have some to spare.

I'VE PURCHASED THREE STUHRLING WATCHES AND THEY ARE ALL OF ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CRAFTSMANSHIP AT A GREAT PRICE. I AM ORDERING SIX MORE FOR MY WATCH COLLECTION. THEIR DESIGNS ARE SUPERB!!!!

Compré este reloj en el 2008, en aquel tiempo me costó 400 dólares, o sea el doble de lo que cuesta hoy. Es un buen reloj pero pagué definitivamente más de lo que vale, tengan cuidado con esta marca pues sus precios son engañosos.

The empEror has become one of my favorites. The pocket watch case and the mother of pearl are simply fantastic. Not to mention the open heart bridge that gives a sneak peak into the bloodline of this piece. Superb

I was about to give one star rating for this watch. But only because of the box and accessories in box. People from Sthurling - listen - IT LOOKS TOO CHEAP!!!
You want to sell class? Style can be created, flare can be boosted, but CLASS has to be earned!
If you shipped this in better box, I'd pay 50$ extra, no questions asked. Instead, it came in box that obviously wants to look distinguished but looks fake!

About watch itself. OK, I know this is new company and they make parts in China. As much as I don't like it, only for issues of outsourcing, I have to say that watch itself looks and feels like it really costs 1000$. And I have Bulova, Omega, and antique Darwil ( among others) and I must say this watch really stands up to the task, keeps very accurate time, although big, it is easy to wear and feels good and quality. For the watch itself, 5 stars. Box and presentation - FAIL - yes I am hard, they want to be among best, but they bring cheap cloak to royal wedding.
I would like to be contacted by people from Stuhrling to discuss this...

I saw the adv on the website and liked the watch , i placed the order immediatly , when i received the piece i checked it i found that the tounge in the bottom flap is missing , this means in simple and plain words that i cant wear it , i contacted Amazon customer service , they told me to conatct the vendor , i wrote them email and attached a photo to prove my claim however i didnt get any response , contacted Amazon again who wrote me at the end that they cant replace the item , the only option i had is to return it , and since I'm living outside the states at this moment i found that the shipping cost will be almost equal to the price of the watch , now i kept it with the hope that i will take it to a repair shop to find an alternative for that missing part , i advise every body to be carefull when buying expensive things through the web.

I will never buy another watch again unless I can touch it and feel it. The watch is just not handsome and my Colleagues at work think it is almost comical 'very mickey mouse'. It seems to work OK though, even though it gains at least a minute each week. I just realized yesterday that both knobs on the side of the watch near the winder were missing! I found one between the keys on my computer keyboard, god knows where the other one is!
I thought of buying an Invicta but decided on this one, I will not be buying another.
