This is a beautiful watch. It has a very substantial feel to it. Once you pick it up you know that it is high quality. The face is a gorgeous color. There is a stand on the back and a good chain is included. This is not the style that has a cover. Nicely packaged with a polishing cloth included. I don't believe I could have made a better pocket watch purchase at any price.

This watch looks beautiful, has a substantial feel to it and was pretty much what I was looking for to replace an existing pocketwatch. But the day/date dials prove hard to read -- find I need a magnifying glass to make out the labels and even then its hard. But its worse feature is that it is a poor time keeper. I would expect quartz movements to be reasonably accurate. But this one loses a couple of minutes a day -- so every time I go to put it on I need to reset it. And the setting process to synchronize the time/date/day/moon phase is straightforward but frustrating. Sure, I can ship it to another country for service but since it sort of works I am reluctant to throw more money into it. Sorry I bought it.

This item was shipped as a defective item. It arrived without the manufacturers plastic tab attached that stops the battery running down. Also the dial that sets the date was not operating. So, it was shipped to Japan and now I have the expense of returning it. Hopeless!@!@
