I just got my watch and let me tell you - this is a sharp looking watch. I'm in love with the aesthetic beauty of the watch and i can stare at the movements for hours (it's a skeleton watch so you can see the movements). The instructions were very simple for getting up and running with this automatic timepiece. I wish there was a little more info on adjusting the band, but the watch itself was a breeze.

It so far looks like it's keeping very accurate time as i've been testing it against an online atomic clock.

My everyday watch has been Brietling Superoceon Heritage since 2008. Unfortunately, however, the bracelet of the watch has been broken, and I just happened to buy this watch.

When opening the box, I was fascinated by the beauty of this Stuhrling timepiece. Although I have Rolex Submariner and Blvgari as well, the design of this very watch is not less beautiful than any of those I ever had (and with less than 1/20 of the price).

Furthermore, the design itself is inspiring me somehow...

When buying this watch, I was a liitle worried about the movement, but it is working good so far.

The only criticism I can make is on its bracelet though. My brietling watch also came up with a rubber band, which is much more durable than the one with Stuhrling. In addition, the little pin that is supposed to fix the bracelet seems not durable enough. I though it is made of tin until I read the specification table. But it is not all bad, because it makes this watch lighter, which, I think, is a pretty important factor for your everyday watch.

In conclusion, I recommend this watch to everybody, except the ones around me! Even though the bracelet is not perfect, I don't think it can be problematic; if you think about the beauty of this watch and the great price (Brietling usually costs you like $5,000), you are gonna love this watch as much as I do.

What a beautiful watch!

I've been researching a new skeleton watch for a while now. I wanted a carbon fiber dial, and a skeleton dial, so this watch was a must have when I found it. I was hoping to get one of the rosegold and black models, but due to everyone being out of stock, decided to cave in and order the brown.

Everything about the watch is top quality. The packaging and build quality of the watch all would make you believe this watch is sold for its msrp value of close to $1000.
The brown band is dark enough to blend easily with attire, and actually compliments the rose gold much more than I thought it would.

Strengths:
1. Love the carbon fiber around the dial!
2. Rose gold looks extremely good and extremely expensive.
3. Very comfortable once sized.
4. High quality packaging.
5. Comes with cleaning cloth.

Complaints:
1. My watch has the brown tint mentioned in other reviews over the skeleton portion. (Unlike the amazon picture and sturhling website picture for that matter.)
It doesn't look bad; however, you definitely can't see the gold gears in the background or mainspring as easily as the pictures lead to believe.
2. Sturhling packaging is fantastic, and comes with lots of paperwork, but it's manual leaves some to be desired. Being a novice to automatic watches, I'm not sure which way turn the crown to manually wind the watch. I assume it's forward, but would have liked something to confirm.
3. You must cut the band to size to wrist...Make sure to be careful, or you'll have to buy a new band to fix your mistake!


Overall, I'm loving the watch and would definitely buy another Stuhrling...who knows, manybe even the black and gold when it's available.

Just got this watch today. This is a nice watch but the only problem is there is a brown film over the skeleton movement. Does this happen to everyone else??? Please leave me a comment here. from the photo this is suppose to be clear over the mvt. I wish it was... i will be contacting the seller about this... and hope to get this resolved.

Item was Nice, it worked excellent until 6 months It felt down and the watch is broken. They have guaranty but quality is not the best.

This watch is of exceptional quality. I've read some horrible reviews on other sites, but decided to purchase the watch and see for myself. I am glad I didn't listen to the other reviewers. The packaging the watch came in makes a beautiful presentation. The watch is a tad bit weighty, but that does not take away from the beauty of the watch itself. Being an automatic watch you would expect it to lose time if you are not constantly wearing it, but that is not the case. The band was a little large for my wrists, but that was easily fixed with an exacto knife and some jeweler tools. I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking for a new time piece.

IT IS A WATCH THAT LOOKS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN IT IS. VERY WELL MADE, NICE MATERIALS, A LITTLE HEAVY AND IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A LEATHER BAND FOR IT, BECAUSE IT WOULD MAKE IT LOOK MORE FORMAL.
