This is simply a nice watch. Its a multi-functional watch with moon phase, which is the specialty of this watch. I could have given 5 out of 5 star, but there is some wrong information in product description. Such as, its not a rose gold watch rather stainless steel with rose gold toned. Next, dial is not 42mm but 38-39mm. Last but not the least, its can't worth $1060 rather $400-500.
Still its really really a nice watch & could be a good time piece.

I received my watch and I felt it was a very unique style. The oval shape is quite different from any watches I have seen. I have only one complaint. These watches were made in China, the company goes to great lengths to make you believe there Swiss made. They do have a Swiss quartz movement & thats it. A little honesty in there ads would be nice.

I received this watch as a Christmas gift, set the watch based on moon phase and date and it is performing great, received many comments, looks great and the band clasp being leather is unique and fast. Really like the watch.

I must say I was exceedingly curious to see this watch, considering the numerous negative reviews it has earned. However, I found it to be a perfectly fine watch considering its price. The word "cheap" in English has, among other meanings, those of "inexpensive" and "shoddily made". This is an inexpensive watch considering the quality/price ratio, but definitely not shoddily made. The movement is Swiss, unlike many in the Stührling line which are Chinese made. The rose gold colored stainless steel case is very well executed, as is the dial. However, the sub-dials are hard to read, and in poor lighting become an ornament rather than a functional addition. The double clasp may be slightly cumbersome to handle for those not familiar with this mechanism, but an excellent video explaining how to use it is easily available at the Stührling blog -my watch came without written instructions on how to set a double clasp. Of course I cannot say anything about how this watch performs over time -I will have to use it for an extended period in order to objectively judge this. One final note: "rose gold" may be used as a noun or else as an adjective to describe color. It is beyond me how can anyone expect a watch under ten thousand dollars to be actually made of gold, even at 10 carats.

I was disappointed in this watch. I bought it for my husband for father's day, but did not give it to him. It looks cheap, and the clasp is a problem to use.

It is not as described. It is misleading. It may be rose gold in color, but it is not true gold, and there is no way that this watch would ever sell for $ 1,000.00. To be honest the $ 179.00 is too much.

I did not return it because of the hassle. I use it as a replacement sport watch for myself. The face is large, but ladies fashion watches are about the same size.

It looks cheap, but I do think it is mid range quality. I don't recommend this watch at this price.

Overall, I am pleased with this watch and glad I made the purchase. As stated in other reviews, setting the moon phase was challenging and adjusting the clasp was a little tricky; however, once the settings were completed I was able to sit back and admire the watch. The leather band is very nice, the rose gold looks very sharp and I like the fact that watch face displays the day of the week, the month, the day of the month and full moon phase. I hope I set the moon phase correctly as it was a lot of work but you must follow the instructions in order to get it correct. The packaging is very impressive and my purchase arrived two days later using standard shipping. I gave a 4 out of 5 rating due the fact that it took a little work to get the settings in place.

In all, this is a very nice piece of time that you wear with pride, it makes a man looks more gentel espically with dress.

I'm doing my bit to spread the word so people will know what they are actually buying and won't be disappointed.

Stuhrling watches are made in Hong Kong. It's just one of many so called brands of cheap, Chinese watches designed to look like much more expensive watches.

Of course the case is not made of rose gold. I did see a watch with a case that actually was made of rose gold. The price tag was around $22,000. I was surprised to read Kay's and S.K.'s reviews because they were surprised the case was stainless steel with a rose gold color. I've never seen rose gold in a $5,000 watch! Folks, you have the internet at your fingertips. Besides shopping and watching music videos, you can actually do research! Compare and contrast! Educate yourself before you buy. What a concept!

The factories in China and Hong Kong crank out millions of these cheap watches. The quality ranges from appalling to reasonably good. But don't expect to see the same quality as a $2,000 or a $400 watch.

My suggestions: Don't buy a watch that's pretending to be something it's not. Anyone who knows watches will look at this cheap watch with the pretend rose gold case and see it as a cheap copy based on expensive, name brand watches. There are some Chinese watches that are worth buying, but not at this price. The only Chinese watches worth buying are either the low end digital watches or ones with stainless steel cases and they look like they're made of stainless steel. Don't spend more for a Chinese watch than what you would spend for a reasonably nice, low end watch at a department store, and I mean the cheapest department store in your town. And shop around! You'll learn about watches currently in the market and their range of prices.

And please do not buy a Chinese watch that is a copy of a real brand name! There are Chinese copies of Tag Heuer, Omega, Rolex, even Vacheron Constantine. The real companies get no money from these fakes and the Chinese government makes no effort to stop the counterfeiters.

Extremely bad product. DO NOT PURCHASE!!! In general, with amazon, there's no reasoning. I received the item in non-working condition. IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!! You would expect that even if there's a policy, if the item is broken, they'd stand behind it(it was purchased as a gift, and wasn't opened until a month after it was received, but they still gave me a very hard time, and said i would not receive a full refund). VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! NOT SERVICE FOR AN UPSTANDING COMPANY!!!
