Stuhrling Original’s Alpine Series was inspired by the fast paced excitement and winter sports, particularly skiing. The watches found in this collection have a very sporty design, well suited for cold weather gear, and it combines functionality with unmatched style. Following in the Alpine’s footsteps, the Nordic was also named after a style of skiing. While the similarities between the two models are apparent, especially with the cigar-style hands, the Nordic takes on a personality all its own. Atop the skeletonized dial are 5 applied Arabic numeral buttons for 12, 3, 6, and 9, and the hands have been treated with Luminova for easy read in the dark. The Nordic’s polished satin bezel is unique in the Stuhrling collection, almost crenelated, but the pattern is not gear-shaped. Half-moon cutouts are what creates this beautiful piece of work, and atop the stainless steel lugs, it adds an extra level of texture and dimension to the watch as a whole. The Nordic comes equipped with a genuine nubuck leather strap, padded for comfort, while the case and movement are protected by our very own Krysterna crystals, a mineral that is more shatter resistant than sapphire.
