I love all the pics I've seen of the watch here and on other sites.
The design is great: the flat bezel, the stainless accents, the black/orange palette, the simplicity (just time & date). There are just 2 things I didn't really notice before ordering: * The watch face itself has some tire-like, relief texture. You can see it if you use the zoom view on Amazon. I'd prefer matte black (I think the watchband takes the metaphor of driving far enough), but it's nice and only noticible when viewing on certain angles. * The size -- see the photo of the watch w/ the ruler. Yep, that's big. It takes a little getting used to, but I like it. It's a bold looking watch and very easy to read from a distance. I get a lot of compliments on it, especially from guys. This includes ones in their 20s & into casual watches to guys in their 40s and into design. Highly recommended.

This is a large watch for larger wrists. The details of the craftsmanship are not apparent in the photographs and the watch looks better in person. The black face has a raised pattern that is supposed to resemble tire treads and matches the rubber watchband. The entire stainless steel back is etched with the Stuhrling logo. The watchband rubber is very supple and the face is completely flat (not beveled or rounded) except for the date magnifier which is a raised above the flat surface. I already have a Brumalia but I was looking for a more casual and sporty watch. I am happy with my purchase.

I received this watch today and I am very happy with the quality and the style. It is very nice looking - even better than how it seems in the picture - and is very comfortable to wear. The orange color is eye-popping but not garish.
