    From the Manufacturer

    Delphi Automatic Collection

This watch is a beautiful timepiece found in Stuhrling Original’s Classic Delphi Collection. The beautiful transparent dial has been cut away to reveal elegant brushed finish of the ST-90050 automatic movement. Each of its delicate instruments, from oscillating balance wheel to the mainspring is clearly seen through Stuhrling Original’s patented Krysterna crystals

    Automatic Movement

Automatic watches do not contain a battery; they are made up of mechanical parts and gears. The watch will be powered by the movement of your wrist as you wear it. For first time wear, or if the watch has not been worn for a while, the crown must be turned clockwise (away from you) about 20-30 full turns. If the watch is worn all the time, and never taken off, it should not require additional turning of the crown

    Detailed Case Back

The threaded exhibition case back reveals the complex mechanism that makes this Delphi an automatic timepiece. It is joined to the back of the movement using a furnace blue stainless steel screw. The watch is secured with a push button deployant clasp to ensure that the watch will remain on your wrist at all times!

It looks great and is very functional.

I have to say one thing it is a heavy watch, and good quality. the only complaint he has about it is that it looses about five minutes every day or two.
    Joe
I just like finally having a watch that I enjoy wearing and looking at.

I could have just written a very positive review about this watch, but I had the means and the opportunity to offer a video review instead so you could see how beautiful this watch is. Besides keeping perfect time by its self-winding mechanism, the watch itself is a work of art. I love being able to see through the face into its workings. The video will do the rest!

The watch looks great and so far performs fine. However I was expecting the quality of the watch would be matched by the quality of the watchband, yet the watchband is the flimsiest I've ever seen. I expected the quality of the watchband to be similar to what I have in my Citizen watches, but it's not even close. Somewhat disappointing.

I'd been thinking about buying a skeleton watch since I saw one on a cruise we took earlier this year. I went on Amazon and looked at some, but wasn't sure, since I'm reluctant to purchase a watch, or any other jewelry, without seeing and holding it. Anyway, Amazon had a one-day sale on this watch and I bought it, figuring if I didn't like it I could return it. Well, I'm not returning it, as I'm extremely fond of it.

Most watches, to me, are boring. You have faces of varying designs with dates, days, different time zones, etc., but few of them are very interesting to look at. Not this watch; I'm endlessly fascinated by the movement of the internal parts. It's great to look at and see how watches work. True, it doesn't have a date or day function, but do you really need that? I just like finally having a watch that I enjoy wearing and looking at. I've only been wearing it for a short time, but it seems to keep accurate time. But it is a mechanical watch after all, so I won't be surprised if it gains of loses a minute or two from time to time in the future. For me, that'll be a small price to pay for a watch that I enjoy wearing as much as this one.

The watch is fine for it's price. Seeing hands in the dark is a bit difficult. Enjoying it anyway though. Oops it stopped working at all in 2 weeks.

I bought this watch as a present for my boyfriend. It seems of good quality and looks quite lovely compared to other watches I had viewed prior. The skeleton style of the watch is very unique and looks very classy. The watch has no battery, as it is an "automatic watch", which runs on the movement mechanism located on the back and this is a huge plus! As a side note, I bought the Canopy protection warrenty; however, the watch comes with a two year warrenty from the manufacturer, so now I have two warrenties now- it may be a bit excessive. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, as is my boyfriend.

The watch was a Christmas gift for my son. He loved it and got compliments on it all the time. At about a month, the watch was fast by 1 minute daily. Two more weeks passed, and the watch went to 5 minutes too fast per day, then it ceased to work at all. Six weeks is all it lasted. The last day to exchange it was January 31, 2013. It died February 9th, 2013.Had the watch stayed within a minute per day, I would have given it 4 to 5 stars.

My husband has now used his watch for over a year. He's had no problems, other than remembering to actually use it enough to keep the automatic movement feature running. Highly recommended.
