I have several self winding watches, and this one is wonderful. It is big, and it is heavy; I don't know how I will like it during the winter putting on coats and removing them, but the watch itself is excellent.

It has the ability to be able to stop both the minute and second hand when the stem is pulled out all the way. Consequently, it is possible to set it with precision. Unlike many mechanical watches, this one almost has the accuracy of a quartz. It's gain or loss is less than a second or two per day -- quite remarkable for a non-quartz movement.

If you're tired of buying watch batteries every time you turn around, and having a quartz movement quit because its battery died and you are far from a place which sells watch batteries, then this is the one for you. I couldn't be happier with it.

And -- you can set both the day and the date with the first stop pulling out the stem. When the stem is pushed in all the way, it can be wound so you don't have to stand around and shake it as if you were preparing a martini as with many mechanical watches.

I've owned it now since the middle of the summer. I can find nothing to fault it whatsoever. It is a joy to own.

This is a fabulous watch. I bought it for my husband and he loved it. It is very well made and nice looking.
Now I am looking at one for my self!!!

I am satisfied with the product.
The only cons I have is that the watch stops too soon after it has not been worn for relatively short period of time.
I would like to suggest to the manufacturers to increase the length of the inert period of their automatic watches to up to or more than 24 hours .

I was very pleased with the price and quality of this watch. It was actually larger and heavier than I expected. The rose gold finish also looks very nice. The leather band is substantial and thick. This watch looks like a $1,000 one, but the price is obviouslly well below that. The first day it gained about 15 seconds--not too bad for an automatic. The only negative aspect was I had to switch the band around for a better fit. I used a knife to undo the pins, and I used my fingernail to put them back in. The band fits much better that way, but the little gold clasp is now upsidedown. Maybe Stuhrling should fix that feature. This is a very classy watch.

I like the design and rose gold color. However, the time is not accurate (4 minutes fast in two weeks) and the band lock system is getting easily open when the release tab is touched by movement of my wrist. I returned the watch. The Amazon service (shipping and returning) was great as always.
