This review is from: Stupefying Stories: "It Came From The Slushpile" (Stupefying Stories, Volume 1) (Paperback)
Sci-fi/speculative fiction is sometimes called the "literature of ideas." But this anthology is more like the literature of "WTF-did-I-just-read-and-why-am-I-laughing-so-hard."I'm picky when it comes to anthologies... I got a copy of this one and took a while to get around to reading it. But once I started, it was all over. Funny, horrifying, off-the-wall, brilliant fiction. Way-to-go, Bethke... you've picked winners. Buy it... enjoy it... share it. I will be... and not just because I'm the illustrator. Heh heh.
