A nice little preview,

Well, it's good to see that Cold's newest single 'Stupid Girl' is finally getting them some well deserved radio-play. Rightfully so, the band has been playing together since the late 80's, they are about ready to release their third studio album, and they have been constantly overshadowed by the success of their peers in Limp Bizkit and Staind. 'Stupid Girl' was co-written by Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo (who seems to have a fetish for nu-metal lately) and is probably the catchiest song Cold have produced to date. This single also includes a bonus remix, which is actually of pretty high standards. Chris Vrenna (formally of Nine Inch Nails, who did some production on their last album '13 Ways To Bleed On Stage') remixes the song, slowing it down to make way for a string section and a little hint of techno pulsing in the background. If 'Stupid Girl' is conisdered upbeat, this is the depressing version. Definetly pick this up if you are a Cold fan and are waiting for the new album ('Year Of The Spider') to come out (May 13th is the current date, but it's been shuffled around so much, who knows.)

I've been a fan of Cold for years (They're probably my all-time favorite band) and I'm glad that they're finally getting some media attention with this single. "Stupid Girl" is a little bit different from a lot of their earlier work, but it 's still great nonetheless. Another great and well-written song from one of the most underrated bands out there today.
