5.0 out of 5 stars Watch out for Wild Orchid!, May 5, 2002
This review is from: Stuttering: Don't Say / Lies (Audio CD)
One of the members of Wild Orchid, Stacy, has left the group, and is now just Stephanie and Renee. The girls will be back this summer with a new album. ...These ladies are one of the most talented in the music industry today. They have incredible voices and amazing songs. Stuttering did not get the recognition it deserved. It should have been one of the hottest hits of the year. Tight harmonies, edgy lyrics, and a killer beat. It amazes me how certain artists, with half the talent of Wild Orchid, can get airplay and these ladies can't. Hopefully the music world will take notice when the new album comes out summer 2002. Everyone should know about Wild Orchid. Buy this cd, you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars it's about time, May 9, 2001

these girls are awesome!! people talk about christina's soulful voice but these ladies were around long before christina was. Stuttering is a great song that shows their different vocal ranges but it just seems like they made this song to fit in with the "trend" that songs are taking on right now. Their strong suit is their love ballads like many of the songs on their first album (ex: at night i pray). It's about time that these ladies are getting some of the recognition that is long overdue. it's just a shame that they get it because certain people think that it's "cool" to like them right now.

This group of talented girls didn't got the much respect they deserved from the Radio DJ, that didn't play this pop gem, that focuses in her voices and great armonies. Great single! Good Looking!, a great follower of "Talk To Me" and "Be Mine".

5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta LOVE it!, February 26, 2002
This review is from: Stuttering: Don't Say / Lies (Audio CD)
Wild Orchid's newest single is better than ever. Their three beautiful voices show true emotion that most singers are not capable of doing. They take a stand for women everywhere by showing their true attitude through this song. DOn't listen to the bad reviews because though it may follow the same topic as Joe's "Stuttering" it is definitely an amazing song in its own right. Who else would take the risks these three girls did(when the threaten to cus) in todays pop music scene? These women have true talent and sass and don't fade into the pop world like most. The song has great edge and a very fun beat that makes you want to get up and dance. This song is for women everywhere...c'mon ladies, let 'em know how you feel! I love this song and will never get tired of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wild Orchid is back again!, January 25, 2002

Don't listen to bad reviews of this song. Maybe it does share the same topic as Joe's "Stutter" but that is where the similarities end. This song is edgy, fun, and once again proves how talented the three women of Wild Orchid are. It is definitely worth a listen and once you hear it you will be hooked. These girls should be topping the radio airplay charts with this song because it is so HOT. The song is both well written and performed and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to hear a fun song with an edgy twist.

5.0 out of 5 stars Watch out Destiny's Child!!!, May 14, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Stuttering: Don't Say / Lies (Audio CD)
The trio that makes up Wild Orchid is not just another pretty pop group. These girls have talent to spare. They are so versatile that their sound can change from sexy and soulful to fun and funky. It is about time they have a break out hit. "stuttering" is better than anything Destiny's Child has released and the song sticks in your head for Days. With a little bit of promotion, these girls could be the biggest and best thing in pop music (aside from Madonna of course). I highly recommend this song. Actually, not only this song but their two previous albums are great too. Stand out tracks on their self titled debut are "Talk to Me", "Supernatural", "At night I pray", and "MY Tamborine". The second album "Oxygen" has the stand out tracks of "Be Mine", the Go-Go's hit "MY lips are sealed" and the best song on the record, the ballad "Come as you Are". Definately check these girls out. You WILL NOT be sorry you did.

5.0 out of 5 stars Trendy Pop from the Most Talented Female Vocal Group Around, May 10, 2001
This review is from: Stuttering: Don't Say / Lies (Audio CD)
These girls truly have the tightest vocals in the industry. Poor management has been the one thing to hold these girls back. If they can secure a larger audience with "Stuttering", they could finally enjoy the success they've worked so hard to achieve. Though, yes, this cut sounds oh so reminiscent of today's "trendy" pop a la Destiny's Child and Pink, it has a killer hook that keeps you humming the tune for days at a time. The B-Side, "Lies" falls right into the same catagory. The thing that sets these girls apart from the rest of them is talent, pure and simple. These girls can go from soft and sultry to hot and wailing in an instant, often times transforming what could be a basic pop background vocal into a soulful gospel chorus. ...I love these girls and it's high time they had their moment in the sun. This is it!

The greatest female group is back with thier 3rd cd. "FIRE" is going to be released on June 19th, 2001 and contains 12 new songs, 3 of which were written and produced by J.C. of N Sync. To find out what Stacy Ferguson, Renee Sandstrom, and Stefanie Ridel are up to check out [their web site]. Stuttering (Don't Say) contains a J.C. song called Lies that will not be included in the album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why are these women not #1., July 2, 2001
This review is from: Stuttering: Don't Say / Lies (Audio CD)
The girls of Wild Orchid are back and better than ever. They have come out with the hotttest song that should fill the airwaves all summer long. They have created a song so slammin and funky it should catapult them all the way to the top. They have the best voices of any girl group out there. Destiny's Child watch out! Unfortunately these girls do not get the recognition they deserve. It blows my mind why they have been overlooked when they are simply the most talented girl group out there. If their management is reading this-overexpose these girls. They deserve to be #1.
