This book proved excellent in presenting the basics of nail care. I thought the information on nutrition alone was enough to buy the book! I have not seen other books, especially magazines, make nail care so simple, yet informative and interesting. From experience this is all it takes to get a good set of nails and good-looking hands. The book does not specify exactly what brands of nail products are best to use (which again from my experience is good, as what works for one person will not necessarily work for another!), but makes up for it through the excellent illustrations and ideas.

This beautifully designed book features exquisite photographs and terrific information on hand and nail care. Its sophisticated look and down-to-earth tone combine to make it a perfect reference for anyone (including men!) who wants their hands to look their best. The instructions and tips are easy to follow and the results are truly amazing. It makes a great gift as well as a welcome addition to anyone's collection. A stylish guide for all of us!

STYLE ON HAND is a fun book with beautifully artistic photos of hands and nails to which one can aspire! It's so refreshing to see nail fashion progress beyond the traditional red polish to encompass nail art; painting one's nails takes on great new meaning! I especially love the cool idea of painting daisies on the nails and the advice of how to keep your nails looking professionally manicured (without the expense!). All of my high school students LOVE this book, as do many of the faculty! With such diverse appeal, STYLE ON HAND would make a great gift for occasions ranging from Mother's Day to Sweet 16 Birthdays to a unique thank-you present.
