I ordered two of these spreads: a full sized white and queen beige. The full is on a normal mattress and it fits it perfectly draping over the entire bed to just about two inches off the floor all around. The queen is on a newer type deep mattress where the mattress + box-spring + frame stand 30" above the floor. The spread is sized big enough to drape level with the bottom of the bedframe (it's just a normal universal metal frame that is about 7" off the floor). This is just big enough for my liking. I wanted it to cover the boxspring and it does do that. I like the unfussy look of a bedspread as opposed to the business of a comforter, shams & bedskirt.

The biggest drawback on this is the fluff issue. Another reviewer noted that when washed and dried it filled the lint filters. This is true. you will have to watch it when drying to clean the lint filter at least twice during drying. I expect this to diminish with additional washings. I'm going to experiment and put it through an extended cool fluff cycle in my drier to see if I can get it to the point where lint is minimal. I think this would be an issue with any new chenille bedspread and will diminish with each wash/dry cycle.

I deducted one star for the lint shedding; however, if you're at all sensitive to lint or fluff I would suggest passing on this spread.

I bought this bedspread in pink for my high king sized bed. I love it. All these complaints about shedding and lint in the washer and dryer are ridiculous. Everyone knows chenille sheds. Why did they buy it? There are plenty of other fabrics out there. Mine doesn't shed except when it is washed. It is exactly what I wanted. The color and fit are perfect. I would definitely recommend this product.

I spoke with the seller of this product, since I purchased 2 bedspreads (beige and sage). I had on my work clothes and brushed against the bedspread and my pants were saturated with beige particles. I decided to wash the beige spread and both my washer and dryer traps were filled with lint. It still sheds, but I'm not using it now. Just hate purchasing something I want and then having to send it back because it didn't meet my needs. I may have to send them both back, I haven't opened the sage spread as of yet. I'm going to contact the seller again on this matter.

and I liked it so much I ordered a blue one. It has all the attributes of the green one - nice medium weight, fits my somewhat high bed perfectly, and the green color is a beautiful shade of green, not lime green like most green bedspreads. I think I like the blue one even better, though, because it's a beautiful shade of sky blue, much prettier than most blues. The Indian makers of this bedspread are really good with color!

Perfect size...Perfect Color..of course it has some initial shedding...it's chenille for cripes sake. I ran it through a 'no heat' cycle in the dryer before putting it on the bed and have no problems with more shedding.

This is a very nice bedspread. I bought a size larger than I would normally buy though because I like my bedspreads to hang to the floor and this one (I read the information before I bought it), hangs about 6 inches from the floor. The spread hangs beautifully and looks great.

The only negative thing I would say is be careful when you wash it for the first time. It sheds a lot. This is probably normal and only happened once. And that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

....I ordered another one in a different color! It fits my somewhat high bed perfectly, it's heavier than my thin, summer chenille bedspreads without being too heavy, and the price is reasonable.

I recommend this bedspread highly!

Recieved in a timely manner. Only problem this item sheds greatly. After washing the spread the lint traps in both washer and dryer were full. I put the lint in a sandwich bag and it was over full to capacity. I plan to send back and also the lint as proof there's a problem with lint/shedding.

After receiving my king size, I purchased a queen for one of my guest rooms. I love this spread. It is of a high quality, does not "shed" (I hung it outside on a windy day). I have no complaints at all.

This is an absolutely wonderful bedspread! So soft and comfortable. The size is very generous-fits my king size bed perfectly.

I washed it in my home washing machine when I first received it and the machine handled it with no problem. I also ran it through the dryer several times after the initial drying cycle to remove some of the "shedding" which is normal with chenille and that took care of the little lint balls!

I got the sage green which is a beautiful color.
