PLEASE NOTE: The actual polka dots you should receive are a thick vinyl that does not have any type of "transfer tape" on it that would require you to use an applicator. You should be able to simply peel them off the backing and stick them on your walls. If you buy from someone other than Decor by HDC, you will receive an inferior quality product that most likely uses a permanent glue that will damage your walls when you try and remove it (ours won't). Please beware of these other sellers, and if you purchase the inferior product please let Amazon know what you received was not what was described in this listing.

Our polka dot wall stickers are made of a vinyl peel and stick material that is durable, washable, repositionable and totally removable. These can be repositioned multiple times without losing adhesive strength, and they leave NO sticky residue on the surface after removal. These are not just for walls. They can also be applied to furniture and smooth ceilings, and can be used for a variety of craft or decorating projects.

I got the 'stylin green' polka dots along with black and lavender to finish off the turquoise walls in my daughter's room. The stylin green which appears to be kiwi green (would have been perfect)on the monitor (several that I viewed it on) arrived and is more of an olive color - not so perfect for this project. I don't know if this was an off dye job and unusual for this color but, it was definitely not what we needed. We're short on the color now and I'm not real sure what we'll do to replace the accent. A bit disappointing from my perspective; buyer beware.

The Good:
*The stickers do cling to the wall perfectly
*They add a nice pop of color on boring, plain white walls

The Bad:
*I was disappointed to see that I received only one sheet of wall stickers - usually, wall stickers come with two or more sheets.
*I need to buy more sheets to fill in the excessively blank spaces on the wall.
*The fact that you need to buy more sheets makes this less of a value than I originally thought.
*The box it arrived it was large, but full of packs of air. Honestly, an envelope would have sufficed and been more cost efficient.
*Without enough stickers, plain white walls take on a sickly splatter effect.

The Indifferent:
*The color is a cross between kiwi and olive, which does not exactly match our bedroom but compliments it all the same.
*The number of stickers listed in the description is accurate.

My Experience:
I ordered what I now know to be one sheet of the wall stickers as I have a smaller space to cover (two smaller walls, one with a large window smack dab in the middle). I was seriously disappointed by the bad qualities I listed above, but I am desperate to bring more easily-removed color into our military apartment, in which the walls must be kept white. I will end up ordering one more sheet of green and maybe a sheet of blue just to fill in the excessively blank spaces so that it doesn't look like baby puke-splatter, but I'm not thrilled at spending eighteen more dollars on just two walls.

The Verdict:
It's a reasonably good product, but order more than you think you will need.
Decide if you can risk getting an off-color green, and if you cannot, bypass this one.

The color shown in the photo is perfect, sadly the actual color is a few shades darker. I was disappointed.
