5.0 out of 5 stars Worked well for my purpose. November 26, 2013

This is a thin rubber sheet. You are probably wondering "what in the world do I need a thin rubber sheet for?" Well, I am building a wooden surfboard and I am in the process of shaping the rails before I glue on the top deck. To glue on the top deck, I need to sand across the compound curves of the rails. The only way to do this without deforming the board is to build what is called a fairing board. Basically, it is a strip of quarter inch thick plywood, about 2.5 inches wide, and about 24 inches long. Then I glued the rubber sheet to the sanding surface, and place adhesive sand paper on the rubber. The end product is a fairing board. Basically, the rubber is a thin sheet of padding between the plywood and the sand paper. For this purpose, the rubber sheet worked very well. (And building my own fairing board saved me about $60.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great DIY supply July 28, 2013

I purchased this for some DIY projects. I will use it as a backing to mount my go pro camera clips to a 2 inch velcro strap. It is pretty stiff and not much cushion which is good as too much and the mount might tear out. Does have the typical petrol smell. If you need something a bit stiffer and that seems very study this could be a good product for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job July 18, 2013

This stuff is tough. It is acting as a factory produced flap that would cost me $20 a piece to replace. With this, I was able to cut 3 of my own, and I still have a lot of material left over. In my case it was well worth the money.
