This is naturally a perfect snow removal product for anyone with a taller vehicle such as an SUV. One can remove the bulk of snow quickly by standing on one side of their vehicle and pushing the snow off to the other. Personally, I don't have an SUV -- I have a sedan, but after suffering two dislocated shoulders, the extender is just what the doctor ordered. I don't have to reach very far and thus do not compromise my injuries. For anyone who skips clearing off snow from the top of their vehicle, buy this -- you won't have any more excuses and it does the job quickly, easily and effectively.

The idea behind this snow brush / ice scraper is good, but the implementation is sub-par.

NEGATIVES:
First of all, the snow brush is too narrow. A wider head would allow you to clear more snow in one swoop, rather than doing what I've had to do: push the thing back and forth like a madman just to clear away a little snow.

Secondly, the brush does not swivel, so the only way to clear snow is to move this brush the same way you would move a push broom. My past snow brush (which I lost) had a swiveling head so I could use it like a push broom as well as in a side-to-side motion.

The last negative is that the brush head tends to spin if you don't tighten it every time you use it. The hot and cold tends to expand and contract the plastic, causing the brush to come loose from it's screw-on base.

POSITIVES:
- the ice scraper works like a charm.
- it's better than being caught without a snow brush

In closing, I don't know if all SubZero brand snow brushes suffer from the same drawbacks, but definitely avoid this model.

I ordered this product specifically because it had a fixed broom head. The company sent me an adjustable broom head model. Turns out they had run out of the fixed head version. Not being happy with the adjustable head, I contacted the company and ask for options to get the fixed head broom. Long story short, they allowed me to keep the model sent by mistake, and provided me with a full refund. Perfect customer service. I'm looking forward to them getting the fixed head model so I can purchase that form them. Great interaction with the company.

I was very satisfied with the snow broom. I can clean the top of my minivan with no trouble. And I received it very quickly.

I have a little bit of hard time working with this. I can't seem to get the Ice scrapper to work correctly.
