An important reference guide for artists on the path to enlightenment and artistic achievement, this collection illustrates the transformation and maturation of style and content in one artist, beginning with drawings as a 7-year old Chewbacca lover. This piece began with gleaning from 100 pounds worth of sketchbooks, and has crystalized into a 400-plus page artistic manifesto influenced by Eastern philosophy, Star Wars, tattooing and graffiti and so much more. Simply put, a visual masterpiece.

This book is an excellent visual compilation of the artists work from his early days drawing Star Wars pictures, to his current work as a talented, enlightened tattooist.
This isn't a book to read of flip through - it is a book to explore and experience. I highly reccomend this book- it is a new journey each and every time I pick it up!

This book is for any artist of any type who understands the blood sweat and tears you put into making beutiful visuals that wear there hearts on there sleaves, or cut-offs. A brillient piece for anyone looking for inspiration in everything under the sun. I don't care who you are, what set you claim, you need to see JK5's work chronologically depicted in this hardcover, it's for everyone. Extreamly universal, he covers many religions in parody advertising and free hand sketches. A true Star Wars fan in every, I mean every sense of the word. Kudos Joseph for setting the world on fire with this piece, they will all soon feel your wrath! Don't sleep please.

This beautiful book is a blast to read through. Tons of huge color plates filled with sex, art and rock and roll. As a huge fan of all of the source inspiration for Ari's drawings (KISS, Star Wars) this collection of drawings really hits home. A must have for those who appreciate the...uh...finer things in life. I give it 5 starts not because it is the best artbook I have ever seen, but because it is a ton of fun.
