Giorno plumbs the depths of his experiences and what he brings to the page cannot be ignored. His voice is primal, immediate, urgent, visceral, and real. I only hope to see the complete text of "Put Your Ear to Stone and Open Your Heart to the Sky" included in his Collected Poems when it is released. It's an amazing poem!
