4.0 out of 5 stars Left of Center is Right, August 17, 2004
This review is from: Subject to Change (Audio CD)
I was introduced to Switched by their song "Inside". On their debut cd called Subject To Change they displayed massive riffage and very moody vocals. A lot of people will label them as Nu-Metal, but I don't believe in labels. I feel like I need to back up Switched becuz I believe they're going to be going places in the future. Stand out tracks to me were: "Inside", "Religion", "Anymore", and "Exterminate". But my all time fave out of the 4 is "Exterminate" that sounds rocks hard. Keeping your eye out for Switched in the future and don't close your mind off to newer music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Switched...A band of the future, July 15, 2002

This review is from: Subject to Change (Audio CD)
This is an absolutely amazing band. I am very big into the metal scene, and I have never heard anyone quite like these guys. They have unbelievable guitarists, meaningful lyrics, and you can silence those *very* annoying critics (who say they do nothing but scream) with this band. The singer has an amazing voice, and this cd should be picked up as soon as possible. It is one of my favorite CD's, and it will be one of yours, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awsome!, March 31, 2006
This review is from: Subject to Change (Audio CD)
Ben's vocals make this album what it is. I hated the single these guys put out 'Inside' because it sounded like a rejected Creed song, but then a friend said "the rest of the album is so different" and so I picked it up and skipped to track two and was proved wrong. These guys FAR from suck...they are actually one of the coolest bands around. Ben has been described as the Jeckle/Hyde of nu-metal and thats so true. Just listen to 'Anymore'...his voice goes from screams to whispers to singing to whispers and then back to screams. It's brilliant. The best tracks here are the aformentioned 'Anymore', '10 Dead Fingers' and 'Exterminate'...'Wrongside' has a great opening and the closing track 'Darkening Days' gets you ready for their sophmore album...which is out now and I have yet to buy...can't believe that...so I'm going to have to buy it today! Anyways, the entire album is great, except for 'Inside' and it's really weird but theres a hidden track at the end of 'Darkening Days' but it's just 'Inside'...exactly the same track as the opener so it's strange they'd do that. ANyways...buy this, you'll love it. Any fan of Disturbed and bands alike will love this.
