I bought this book a few year back since my paternal side's spiritual link is with Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani(famously known as Ghous Pak or Ghous-al-Azam). It's a very intense study and cannot be read in one go. This is my personal take since I like to contemplate on what I am reading and conducting an introspection. My reading cycle got disrupted by an international trip and I ended up presenting the book to my parents. After a few years, I felt the need to complete my study of this book and re-ordered via Amazon. I am still in the process of educating myself, but this is not an easy process. It's a very deep and intense study of Hazrat Ghous Pak's discourses. And, the real nice point about the translation is that, all the Arabic words that are of significance, are highlighted in paranthesis to keep the flow alive by not losing the real touch in translation. I have not completed my study of all the discourses and I go back to them off and on before moving forward. This book requires a special bent of mind to go through an intense workshop of introspection. After getting the book, I have had the desire and need to formally sit in a gathering where the discourses can be discussed since they are not meant to be read only. Interestingly, a friend of mine who knows my leanings happened to pick the same book as a birthday gift so I have two of them now. The book itself has a lot to offer and contemplate on.
