A great first hand account of a submarine commander. "Submarine Commander" is well written and drills down into his own history with in the sub-service. The has many sketches and maps to assist the read along the way. A great book!!!

This is a wonderfully written semi-autobiographical book following a man from initial acceptance into the British submarine community all the way thru to command. While some Americans may think its not applicable based on its roots, I would argue that it is very applicable, even for today. He shares many comical and some harrowing tales.Worth the buy, I have three!
