This young new talent effortlessly combines his influences of Nick Drake,Jeff Buckley and Ryan Adams into an exciting new sound. This album is laid-back, acoustic. Live, he is more electric, energised. Catch both!

Whitley has the sound that will mellow in your subconcious. It is an album that will follow you around even when you are not listening to it. His vocal range and style is at most understated, a feeling that at any moment he will take off and hit the notes to make you shiver.
His live show embraces the contradictions of the album sounds with his personality and yet makes perfect sense. He is being compared to everyone, from Bright Eyes to Nick Drake. For me, he stands apart.

I watched a youtube video of Nancy Corrigan's Mom for Mother's Day,and the song in the background was from this album....I just had to get the CD....I love it,kind of reminds me of the folk songs of the 70's...I play it every day....
