Note to author: PLEASE warn people that these serial books have cliffhangers. It took me almost half of book #2 to get back into the story and sort of care about the characters. Now, I have to wait THREE MONTHS to read another installment? I buy books for entertainment purposes. I don't find these serial books with months in between to be entertaining in the least. By the time the next book comes out, I won't remember anything about the story at all. Leaving me dangling like this only makes me frustrated and dissatisfied. Going forward, if a serial story sounds interesting to me, I won't buy it until all books in the series are published. Also, I will carefully read all the reviews before I make a decision to purchase the books or not. Regarding the story, although Rafe and Ari have an attraction to one another, I don't like that fact that he has taken unfair advantage of a sweet, innocent college student. This does not sit well with me at all. The whole thing is just too much like FSOG ...

Who is this book about Rafe and Ari or Shane and Lia? I thought it was supposed to be about Rafe and Ari. Shane and Lia's story can stand on it's own. The second book is forgettable. I will not be moving on to the rest of this series. I felt disconnected from these characters because there was too much time spent on the secondary characters. And the ending, really...?? I am not going to give it away but I will say that there is nothing that would make we want to move on to the next book.

This book wasn't even close to the first. The quality of writing was horrible, the editing was terrible....wrong names were used, at times you couldn't figure who was actually speaking and then it would seem like entire paragraphs had been deleted! It would be so confusing I would scan back to see if I missed reading a page or something. Really disappointed. I was so looking forward to this book I pre-ordered which I never do! I'm bummed!

I gave this a 3 because the author decided to split the book into 4 parts, published over a considerable amount of time. I am sorry but I feel a book should be "stand alone" - one beginning, one middle and one end. Yes, you can continue characters into another book so that we can get an update on them but authors SHOULD NOT drag a story out into four books! I have the first two and there is a promise of more on Ari and Rafe in book 3 but no VOW that we will see the end of their story. Drat! and Double Drat! I probably won't buy #3 until I know their story is finished! So save your money people, don't buy until the author decides the story is completed!!!

WOW !! I should stop at that..the book has made me almost Speechless !! If you knew me personally..you'd know that being speechless isn't something that happens to a girl who's Uncle once paid her to be quiet during a fishing trip!! Melody Anne really knows how to put a twist and turn into her stories without making you feel like your being led in a circle. Rafe is such a loveable and yet hate-able character that you want to just kick him in his stubborn ass and tell him to wake up and smell the coffee... and the there is Ari.. strong yet fragile in some ways..but changing before your eyes into her own special person... At the end of "Surrender" she was walking out of the plane..leaving Rafe and his proposition. The story starts there... And then there is Shane..Rafe's best friend since he was 15.. and Rafe's "little" but Oh so grown up sister Lia bent on "Bedding" her brother's best friend!! I'd like to shake both of them and tell them to look at what they are doing to each other.. You get to know all four of these unforgettably characters along with "Rachel" Rafe's other sister. Melody takes you from California to New York City and to Vegas and the "Thunder Down Under" Show.. she had to have enjoyed "RESEARCHING" that part to get it SO ACCURATE!! She gives you Romance ...Fun....Laughter>>> Frustration and More all wrapped up in to a package that you won't put down till the last page...and then your waiting for Book 3 to tell you the end of the story... Do your self a favor..Get Book 1 first..Surrender..then get this one and enjoy!!WARNING THESE ARE HOT SEXY BOOKS..Submit (Surrender Series Book Two)

What did I get myself into? I don't care for serials, and here I am again! Part 2 of 4. I am going to have to read the first book again so some of the references in this book make sense. It shouldn't be this hard to read a hot, romantic story.

That aside, I find myself enjoying Rafe and Ari's growing relationship. We are also introduced to a blossoming relationship between Shane, the long-time friend, and the much-loved younger sister Lia. I am sure the third book in the series will get me hooked even more

I am so sad that we are at an impasse as this book ends. I am certain that #3 will bring us more fullfilment as we follow Ari and Rafe as they try to figure things out. Ms. Anne does a wonderful job of giving voice to Ari. Some of the other characters not so much, but it isn't a deal breaker. Also, the proofreader fell down on the job a few times. But regardless of my criticism, I enjoyed Submit and look forward to the next installment. Three months is a long time to wait...
