This review is from: Subnoize Souljaz (Audio CD)
This CD is awesome!!! Ive been keeping up with Suburban Noize records since i first got Kottonmouth Kings Royal Highness CD. Ive got all of KMK's CD's, Kingspade, Disfuction Ill, Daddy X's solo, Saint Dog/Big Hoss - Ghetto Guide, etc. Subnoize Souljaz is just a collaboration of most of the rappers under this lable, and it is one of the best rap CD's ive ever listened too. However, Suburban Noize records isnt just a rap lable they also have some rock bands and some reggea groups under the lable so its diverse and as we all know diversity rocks!! I cant wait for the next KMK cd, the D.G.A.F. album, and the Dirtball album. This is definitely worth the money.

This album is a giant collaboration of most of all the emcee's that make up the great indie label, Suburban Noize Records. This all-star cast includes The Kottonmouth Kings(Loc,Richtor,X), Big B and Johne Necro from OPM, Judge D, Saint Dog and his bro Big Hoss, and newcomers to the label Dirtball, Just Cause and the extraordinary Chucky Styles. Also included are visual assassin Big Pak and sub noize friend TJ Lavin.
1) Frontline(9/10)-a great 8 minute epic with all members bringing their unique style. Standouts are Chucky Styles ferocious raps and Big Hoss laying down some sick rhymes. 2) Keep A Look Out(5/10)-a decent song featuring Richtor,Loc, and the Judge. Has a pretty good chorus and a decent beat. 3) Crazy(7/10)- Features just Big B and has him sharing to the masses why you should never, never, ever do hallucigens. Big B always brings his A-game over good beats. 4) Soldiers Story(7/10)-pretty good beat. Nice vocals featuring the Judge and Richtor. 5) Summertime(10/10)-one of my favorites. Richtor starts it out with flowing gracefully over an amazing beat. This track which also includes Big B and Saint could definitely become a hit on the radio. 6) Dust to Dust(3/10)-my least fav song which has Loc and the Judge teamed together on a track that seems like their wasnt alot of time put in it. Doesnt flow really well at all. 7) One By One(9/10)-has the modern day anti-hero Taxman supplying his views in between verses. This track has the Judge at his loudest and angriest in the chorus and his verses. Big B is pretty solid on this track and Chucky Styles is great. Enough said. A great preview to the new DGAF album featuring Chucky And Just Cause coming out 4/20. 8) PPPimp(8/10)- awesome song with an awesome chorus brought to u by the one and only Dirtballl. Saint adds his crazy, funky style and Just Cause is also pretty damn good also. 9) Live Life Quick(9/10)- another one of my favs. This could also be a hit on the radio. The vocals on this are timeless and include Big B, Just Cause, and Saint make this song great. While Big B and Just Cause sound perfect for this song, Saint is good too but is lacking something that would of made this song a perfect 10. 10)We Bad(9/10)- This song is basically an intro to the new souljaz on the sub noize frontline. Once again Dirtball provides an amazing chorus and opens the song with sick verses. Chucky Styles is up next and is pretty good and then Just Cause ends it with his best part on the entire album. Just Cause along with Chucky and Dirtball are great additions to the sub noize tribe and with the DGAF album and the Dirtball album coming out in the next 3 months, we anxiously wait for more. 11)Lets Ride(5/10)-a decent track with a pretty good beat and badass intro and features D-Loc, Richtor, and Daddy X or otherwise known as the label founders, the almighty Kottonmouth Kings. 12)Sub Noize Tribe(5/10)-a decent song which doesnt seem to flow well. Includes Big B, Saint, and Judge D. 13)Push Up Ya Knucks(6/10)-an ok song featuring Dirtball and Daddy X. When u listen to it, it feels like it is not complete. 14)Drama(7/10)-really good song which features Saint Diggity Dog and OPM's own Johne Necro's only track. Really like the chorus and the beats. This song's beats seem laid back with fast, quick-striking verses. 15)Never Gonna Hold Me Down(9/10)- A great song to end the album. The beats are pretty sweet and the chorus is also just as good. TJ Lavin lays down some pretty badass rhymes along with Johnny Richtor who can rap and sing with the best of them. [...]

this is an awsome album, it has a great mix of all the rappers from the subnoize tribe. if you're new to kmk, i highly suggest this album, cause it will introduce you to some great rappers like big b, dirtball, and judge d. all the songs on here are great, it's definitely an album you can listen to all the way through and then play again. frontline is one bad a** song, it's got everybody on it. also soujaz story, dust 2 dust, live life quick, and never gonna hold me down are my favorites.
