Subterranean Homesick Blues,
By Bjorn Viberg (European Union) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Subterranean Homesick Blues (Audio CD)
Subterranean Homesick Blues is an astounding record. After having listened to the decent "Infidels" it is very nice to listen to Dylan at his best. Subterranean Homesick Blues (the title is just a tad long?) is a brilliant record. It even has a short poem/story written by Dylan himself. I can not say that I totally understand what he is writing about. The book-let itself is a sorry story. Poorly shot photos that look like they have been done by friends. No lyrics in the book-let and general feeling that it was done with less then a professional touch. Which is a shame since the music is grand. Songs such as Subterranean Homesick Blues, On the Road Again makes this truly a classic!

Subterranean is a favorite of mine that gives voice and creativity to protest. It can capture anyone at any age with Dylan genius. Rock on!
