I've read all of Donna Birdsell's books from the very first and Suburban Secrets is a total departure from the previous historicals. Fast-paced, fun and funny--and totally contemporary-- Suburban Secrets contains plenty of references to 80's television and music.

While I love Ms. Birdsell's poetic historical voice, this contemporary blew me away.

I read Suburban Secrets in less than two days!
