Shane's voice is absolutely enchanting, and hold your attention from beginning to end. It flows beautifully, and I can confidently say this is one of my all time favorite CD's. Ever. It's one of the few albums that I can put in my stereo and hit play and happily sing through every track. The catchy tunes seem pop inspired, with a garage, early weezer-esque feel without the manufactured cookie cutter lyrics we're spoon fed by top 40. Buy this CD- you wont regret it.

This was my introduction to Dolour in early 2003. Now just a year later, they have a new record that is even better than this one. I picked it up at their website, dolour.comBetween these two albums, I have my summer soundtrack planned out for the next few years!

I just typed this up and it didn't show so if it shows twice...sorry. What to say? Dolour is the coolest new band. Well, its not really a band, its just one guy, or that's what the cd says. I would describe dolour as a less depressing Weezer. Sorry weezer, still love ya. If you live in Seattle you might have heard Menage A Trois on 1077 on Sundays at 8. This one guy band is headed by Shane Tutmarc, a young talented guy who's super nice. I saw Dolour in concert twice and both were great. After they rock out on stage they are nice enough to give autographs, take pictures with you, and just talk. Their CD is great. Buy it right now. I like Menage A Trois and So Done with you. I also like the nice little "Ba ba da da da da" intro on A Billion Odd People. So to everyone out there, especially you seattle residents, buy this cd, see dolour in concert, and Rock ON!

Yes, the few people who do live in Seattle are super lucky because we have the new coolest band...Dolour. I'd say that they're kinda like a more pop-ish Weezer. I have seen these guys (actually its just one guy) twice in concert and they are awesome. The CD is sweet too! My favorites are Menage A Trois and So Done with you. Menage A Trois has got some radio play on 1077 and I'm sure we will be hearing it a lot more. Shane Tutmarc, the main guy, is super talented and very nice. Go to one of their concerts and i swear you won't be let down. Rock on Dolour fans!
