5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC! A 'Must Read' book for anyone in corporate world!, March 8, 1999

This review is from: Success With the Gentle Art of Verbal Self-Defense (Paperback)
How many times have you been 'blind sided' by someone in a meeting? How many times have you felt that everyone was playing a game that you weren't part of? How many times have you felt like your dignity was being challenged _by a simple phrase_? This book not only explains how it happens, and why you feel that way, but how to defend against it. This book explains the subtle nuances of our language that can turn you from a verbal victim into a master of 'the phrase'. I now know why, in my 15 year career, I haven't gotten as far as I thought I should. This book is a MUST READ! I cannot stress this enough!
