About the Author

Renee Phillips is a professional career consultant and coach for artists world-wide. She was Editor-in-chief of Manhattan Arts International magazine from 1983-2000 which is now an e-zine. She is a member of the International Association of Art Critics and is the author of five editions of New York Contemporary Art Galleries, three editions of Presentation Power Tools for Fine Artists and two editions of Success Now! For Artists: A Motivational Guide for the Artrepreneur. She is Director of Manhattan Arts International, an artist resource organization in New York, NY. She presents lectures in art institutions throughout the U.S.

If I could put all the ideas I'm getting out of this book into practice, I'd be moderately successful. The writer seems to know enough about the art scene to make it sound convincing. Some errors. Somewhat local: New York.
