Professor Yeaple gives some advice that can be applied immediately. He advices a person to recruit others to help them in the advancement of his or her career.He advices you to see yourself as the CEO of your career, to be proactive. One way to obtain knowledge is by consulting with experts in their given area. He's specific in what he recommends and this is a strong point of the book. Different skills are discussed in detail. He mentions a wide range of necessary skills needed for a successful career, such as computer competency, industry knowledge, managing innovation, analytical skills, among others. His perspective is refreshing and helpful. |
