True, oh so true words as stated by Napolean Hill in Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude a great sequel to Think and Grow Rich. Many people feel that Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude is even better than Think and Grow Rich.I believe you need both.Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude has positvely influenced the lives of many high powered people.Dr. Denis Waitly credits this book as helping him move from an also ran to a front runner and arguably, oneof the best trainers in the business.Rev. I have been a fan of Hill's since reading Think and Grow Rich over 15 years ago.When I ask successful people the books that shaped their life, Think & Grow Rich is always mentioned first. Success through a positive Mental Attitude is also mentioned.The mind books definitely enhance your success and SUCCESS THROUGH A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE IS ONE OF THE VERY BEST.I also recommend Financial Self Defense and More Wealth without Risk. These books are to personal finance what Hill's books are to personal development.

This book shows the absolute validity of Napoleon Hill's classic success book "Think and Grow Rich." W. Clement Stone seems to have put all of what Hill wrote about, which made him successful beyond belief.

Napoleon Hill's books have been a treasured part of my library. I've recommended this one to others countless times. I consider Napoleon Hill to be one of the earliest "proactive thinkers" in the world. As the father of the science of personal achievement, he has been one of my success mentors.

If you haven't read this book before, get ready for profound wisdom. Napoleon Hill makes it easy to understand that our thoughts are things and have God given powers, far beyond what is commonly taught by others. I can tell you from my own astonishing situations experiences that, your success really is most definitely determined by what and how you think and having a positive mental attitude is key.

You will find that this exciting book becomes a part of you. Don't hold back - let it happen. In fact, you should spend 10 to 15 minutes every morning focusing your thoughts on the truths of this book, thereby allowing them to seep deep into your subconscious mind. If you do this I guarantee this wisdom will most assuredly bring you the success and abundance you deserve.

I read this book in the beginning of my college career. I carried it around with me until it started to fall apart. I was in a remedial reading course at community college. I am now studying for a master's degree at making all A's. I am authoring my own book to be released in the fall. The principles from books like these made all the difference.

PMA stands for "positive mental attitude." This is the foundation that best selling author, Napoleon Hill based his teachings of motivation to millions of people who have transformed their lives for the better.

Hill went from living in a log cabin to the life of a millionaire and influence as the author of internationally acclaimed best sellers and adviser to heads of state. This was all made possible by living what he taught.

"What the mind can conceive and beleive, it can acheive," preaches Hill in his incredible "Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude". There is an audio version that you can listen to in your car, or there is a paperback available also.

Napoleon Hill also authored, "Think And Grow Rich", arguably the greatest motivational book of all time.

All of Hills' writings are incredible, however just remember to use them as blueprints and not as entertainment.

In other words, if you simply read "Succes Through A Positive Mental Attitude", you will have some enjoyment for a few evenings. If you employ what you read, you will enjoy a more fulfilled life.

You can start that more fulfilled life with this book. Good luck.

The first batch of significant books that had the greatest influence on me in terms of attaining personal achievement includes mostly Napoleon Hill's books:

- The Law of Success;
- Think & Grow Rich;
- The Keys to Success;
- Success through a Positive Mental Attitude;
- Succeed & Grow Rich through Persuasion;

The others were from Clement Stone, Dale Carnegie, & Earl Nightingale.

That was the early 70's when I had just started work as a young engineer.

The author, Napoleon Hill, had impressed me most by his relentless dedication in spending some two to three decades of his life in pursuing & researching the success secrets of the rich & famous...with a little help from Andrew Carnegie, of course.

As matter of fact, many of the famous people he interviewed were also favourite role models of mine e.g. Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, just to name a few

Till this day, I have never forgotten what he said:

"The most powerful instrument we have in our hands is the power of our mind."

I have never ceased to be fascinated by the simplicity & the potency of his ABCs of personal achievement: CONCEIVE, BELIEVE & ACHIEVE!

It is certainly enlightening to note that even Stephen Covey had drew inspiration from Napoleon Hill's work even though he never made that credit. He only admitted that the 7 Habits had its origins from "200 years of success literature in the United States." That remark itself is self explanatory.

Anthony Robbin's Mastery program as embodied in his books as well as his audio/video resources is no exception, even though he has been influenced in larger extent by NLP.

If you look at & compare the 17 principles of personal achievement in 'The Law of Success' &/or the 13 Steps to Riches in 'Think & Grow Rich', one can obviously see the uncanny resemblance of the 7 Habits & the Mastery principles...in one way or another.

At this juncture, let me outline the principal theme of each book:

The Law of Success: the original course on the fundamentals of success - all the seventeen essential principles of personal achievement;
Think & Grow Rich: The seventeen essential principles are reframed & condensed in terms of thirteen concrete steps to wealth creation (in actuality, this is a condensation of the Law of Success);
The Keys to Success: a further elaboration of the seventeen essential principles with concrete suggestions, exercises & advice;
Success Through Positive Mental Attitude: joint authorship with Clement Stone, with a further emphasis on developing a positive mental attitude;
Succeed & Grow Rich Through Persuasion: joint authorship with Clement Stone, with a further emphasis on developing master salesmanship & networking;
[It is pertinent to note that Clement Stone actually built his insurance business empire with these principles.]

My most productive, personal learning experience from Napoleon Hill's work is the understanding - application - of his success principle #1: Develop Definiteness of Purpose.

[Very surprisingly, J Y Pillay, former Chairman of Singapore Airlines, - who had been credited for building the airline to what it is today, A GREAT WAY TO FLY! - also credited his work axiom to this same success principle, but he attributed it to an ancient Hindu scripture known as Bhagavad Gita.]

I am certainly gratified to note that Napoleon Hill's work had casted so much influence on - & empowered - so many people in the world, including myself.

I have a library of many of Napolean Hill's books. Think & Grow Rich is my favorite. Law of Success is my second favorite and this one is next.

What I liked about this book is the addition of comments by Clement Stone along with Hill's prowess. Interesting, Stone credits Napolean Hill's philosophy for helping him amass his huge fortune.

At first glance, Success Through a PMA may appear to be just another version of Think & Grow Rich. There are some similiarities, but plenty of differences to make this book a worthwhile read.

When I first got into network marketing in the 70's, I met a guy who made over $2 million in 18 months (in 1970 $$$!!!) and credits this book along with the right opportunity as being his secret to success.

Since following Hill's advice in this and Think and Grow Rich, I have achieved success far greater than I could have otherwise.

Great book in addition to Think & Grow Rich.

This book is a must to read in one's lifetime and keep it handy as it contains numerous examples of how people went from rags to riches by keeping a positive attitude. Read any page a day and that page itself should be enough to keep you on a positive 'High' all day through out

Perhaps the greatest novel I have ever read. Who is the most important person in the world to you? You are. I determine how I react to every situation. I determine if I view problems as oppurtunities. It is up to each individual to make every occasion a great occasion. This book is awesome, and is probably the best motivational book I have read. The best self motivator I know, "God is always a good God." My next favorite self motivator is "Whatever the human mind can conceive and believe, the human mind can achieve with a positive mental attitude."

I love reading the stories of other people who made a positive mental attitude work for them. I have also found that action does over rule emotion. The Do It Now section was also good. Instead of putting things off, I Do It Now. I plan on reading this book again, but until I do I always remember that I control whether a situation is good or bad. This is the most influential book I have read, and I recommend it to everyone.

Should be required reading for all high school students. Will change your life over night. A book that should be read and re-read.
