First taste of a great author,

Let me begin by saying I picked up this book during my first year of goose hunting. This book, became my go-to guide for reference points from calling, to equipment, to decoying - everything. The author, which has put out many more great books on hunting that are all worth picking up, is a lover of what he writes about and this comes through in such a way in this book it makes you want to hunt alongside him for the stories he'd share.
Some useful sections include what to pack in the blind bag, proper ammo/gauges, differences in seasons, and many more. I'd recommend this book to any budding or experienced waterfowl hunter for the tips, tricks, and tales that it contains. |
