This is the textbook that I used in teaching the MBA course in Project Management. PM concepts such as SOW, WBS, CPM, Gantt chart, RFP, were covered in details. The concept on scheduling and timeline, late start, late finish, early start, early finish was brilliant! Examples were very clear. MS Project trial version is enclosed with the book. On the other hand, you can download from MS website, free for 30 days.

The only drawback of this book is heavily on engineering projects.
There was no financial, marketing, international or E-commerce project management. As the professor, I had to add my real-life experience to make it more interesting.

I bought this book for class and I guess it's ok. If you don't need the trial version software of MS Project, I suggest you buy the used version of it though. Not worth the $167 that I paid for it. As a matter of fact, I'd advise you to get the trial version online at microsoft.com and buy this book used.

This was the assigned text for a class I took. It was an excellent text book: clearly written, well organized, and easy to study. The key points jump off the page and are repeated for emphasis. What's more, this text is so valid that I have already begun to use it at work, and expect it will remain in my reference library for a long time. It is a rare textbook that is worth it's price.

This is a great book for starter in PM arena. Small packet with big info....

Very interesting book and fun to read, easy to understand and straight forward. In life you need to manage your time and this one shows how to do it at work in real life situation.

At last an easy to understand and informative text on running projects! The case studies and world wide web exercises were great learning tools. A must for anyone interested in designing, organizing and implementing projects of any scale.

Successful Project Management by Gido & Clements is a wonderfully up to date book for any and all situations. There is pertinent applicable project scenarios that can be applied to just about any level of project where you have project planning, implementation, structuring, funding/manning issues, and organizational issues. Much more content than I had expected. Easy to understand and quite readable. Well worth the look-see. Once again, Amazon,and their sellers, has really come through for me in selection, price, availability, and fast delivery with ample shipping-speed options. Thank you Amamzon.

This book is great! The best thing I like about this book is the step by step guide with Microsoft Project. I also like how everything was explained in detail so you can understand the process.
