This review is from: Successful Project Managers: Leading Your Team to Success (Hardcover)
Pinto and Kharbanda have done an excellent job in distilling the qualities that are found in good project managers. This book is a must read for both beginning and experienced project managers. If there is a down side to this book the case studies cited tended to be large scale esoteric projects like building an airfield in the Faulkand Islands. The book would have scored a 10 with me if the authors had focused on more "real world" examples: like implementing a new information system, developing an average consumer goods product, or re-engineerng a business process. I did get lots of teambuilding ideas and ended up with an understanding of what traits separate good project managers from poor ones
