About the Author
C. H. Patterson, Ph.D., is Distinguished Visiting Professor, University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Professor Emeritus, University of Illinois. The author of numerous books and articles, a recipient of APA's division of counseling psychology lifetime achievement award, Dr. Patterson has taught in Hong Kong, England, Ireland, and Turkey. He earned his master's degree in child psychology and his doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Minnesota.
Suzanne C. Hidore, Ph.D., is an organizational behavioral science consultant in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Hidore has over twenty years of experience in human services, including career counseling, outplacement, psychotherapy, management consultation, university teaching, and corporate training. She holds a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling and a doctorate in counseling with a cognate in management.
