It is filled with hundreds of real life examples and the great tools and professional techniques used by Patricia L. Fry, an accomplished and prolific author. Reading it made me feel like I had my very own writing coach who knew all the delicious secrets of the trade and took great joy in sharing them with me. I was especially interested in the techniques for overcoming writers' block and the need to consider marketing my work while it is being written. As a wannabe writer, I had never before considered all that goes into getting published and preparing to deal with the business side of a writing career.
