5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, erotica for women worth buying!
The Succubus is one of the best of the Black Lace Series I have read...and I've read quite a few. The characters are succulent, the action exciting, and it has enough plot to keep interest inbetween the tantalizing parts. My only objection would be that the coming together of the protagonists at the close of the book is too abrupt.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as promised!
I had expected more from the book than what I received. The sex was hurried and not fully developed. There was a good plot, but the ending is dubious.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful erotic novel., September 11, 1998
This review is from: Succubus (Black Lace Series) (Paperback)
Not since the GOR novels by John Norman have I read an erotic novel this good. The characters in this book were absolutely flawless. their beauty in context was exquisitly written. Zoe le Verdier is one of the best. I'm looking forward to reading many more of her novels as well as other authors in the black lace series. This book is not only for the women who reads erotic fiction but for the men as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars if you need a more detailed review, January 5, 2006
This review is from: Succubus (Black Lace Series) (Paperback)
when i was fifteen years old i found this book and it is very dear to me. when i saw it online i knew i had to give it a worthy review.

if you are into the domination submission scene you may like this book, it features more of the control and power than it does the pain of D/S

the book revolves around a ballet dancer named adele, she is very timid but sought after.

the ballet company is losing money but has a chance for funding if they dance for a private patrons birthday partie, through many sexual experiences adele gains a strong confidence in her sexuality.

this book gets:
5 stars for erotic scenes
5 stars for plot
4 stars for character (adele and rafique are wonderful but the other characters only show one facet)

2.0 out of 5 stars bondage a-poppin', February 18, 1999

Not for me -- no one in this book could get excited without being tied down first. Bondage fans might like it more, though.
