My name is Cheri Compton and I am the author of CC's Cookbooks. My main job is being a wife and mother to 10 kids! As you can imagine I spend a lot of my time and energy in preparing and serving food to my large family. I found myself also spending quite a bit of time researching and trying out new recipes. I'm always looking for recipes to help me in my goal of feeding our tribe inexpensively, with easy-to-prepare meals and having a variety of go-to favorites.

Since I spend so much time trying out new recipes I became interested in compiling and sharing them with people. I also share our old tried-and-true favorites we've been making for years. Some of my cookbooks share recipes around a certain ingredient, like chicken breasts. Another one shares a lot of kid-friendly, mother approved recipes for busy moms.

Recently I've written several "around the world" cookbooks. A lot of these recipes have been tested out by my husband and some other adult friends and received good ratings. Life is an adventure and food is a big part of that adventure. My goal is to provide a good go-to source of great tasting recipes with enough variety to please everyone.
