Got this game for Christmas and played with the adult children in the family. It is a lot like Buzz Word and was a little harder than I anticipated. Play it with a variety of people so you have more subjects covered and can get more questions right!!

Such & Such is similar to Buzzword, except the answers are in pairs. In Buzzword, there are 10 words, each with a common word among them. In Such & Such, there are five pairs of answers and you have to say both answers together to score. Good thing it's a team game, because sometimes two or three heads are better than one. Answers are from a variety of subjects, which makes it interesting.

The whole family loved this game. It was lots of fun. It has the easier side and then the more challenging side so something for everyone. Glad I purchased this game. It is a keeper and will be in our game cabinet for a long, long time.
Good choice.

This is a great game for older kids, 10 and up and adults. It is easy to play, can be done at a table or just sitting around. It is not that easy and can be a lot of laughs.

I should really read more carefully. I bought Such and Such as a game to play with my 10 year old, and didn't realize it is a TEAM game, for a crowd. We gave it a go, just so we'd know how to play when we ever had a crowd, but the questions were much too hard for her. Appropriate and fun for a young adult/adult aged crowd.

Such & Such seemed right up our alley as far as a party game. It's a team game with a timer that requires shouting out answers. The big drawback is the difficulty level. We may not be the brightest, but we're definitely not dim and this game stumped us quite a few times.

Here's a synopsis. You break into two teams. Each team rotates through a reader/clue giver. The reader draws a card which contains five clues and answers. Every answer is a blank & blank answer. For example: A popular children's sandwich? Peanut Butter & Jelly. I gave a relatively easy example but I would say that half or more than half of the questions are quite obscure references.

Each team is given 40 seconds to go through the five clues and guess the answers. Of course, like most games, you can skip around and come back to the more difficult ones. It helps if the reader is loud, articulate and able to emphasize certain parts of the clues for ease of guessing. Whatever the first team misses, the opposing team has the opportunity to steal those answers. Scoring is one point for every correct answer given.

Because we had a hard enough time guessing some of the combinations, we were liberal on the order given. For instance, if the answer was Jake & John, we'd accept John & Jake.

The scoring board and pen provided were almost useless. You're supposed to keep score on a small erasable board with a wet erase marker. Well, the wet erase marker is so wet that whatever you write begins to bead up and disappear by itself.

The game is OK, I definitely wouldn't recommend it to any crowd age 30 and under because many of the clues are generational; as in the Baby Boomer generation and into Generation X.
