For Such a Time as This.....as I write, Peter Jeninnings is on the TV about the act of War on our country in NYC. Ladies, we have been called to the kingdom for such of time as this. The world is looking for real women with real answers and real hope. Lisa Ryan spells out some real lessons for young girls and young women a like in order to get us in a position to be the salt and light of the world. We are living in a time where young girls are standing up for God and His kingdom here on Earth. We have been called to be with HIM to have a divine destiny and run after the passions of the KING. This is a practical book that helps women discern from society's view on womanhood and God's purpose for women. It is a quick read. I could not put it down.

It has a journal questions in the back of each chapter as well as key verses. This is a book that is backed with and built on the word of God. It can be used as a Bible study for small group. The chapters are short and keep the readers attention. This is a great gift to a young woman to be accompanied by a journal and a girly pen.

My sisters.......go to be the women that God has called you to be.

Esther's story is my favorite story in the Bible. She was a very strong woman who was fearless (she was not afriad to be herself). Lisa Ryan has done a great job applying this fabulous story to life as a young woman today. I found that the writing was somewhat silly (Mrs. Ryan sometimes used slang never spoken by anyone outside of middle school), but the message was awesome. Every girl should read this book!

It's a decent book, and I remember that I really liked the parts about Esther. A little bit on the superficial side, but a good book nontheless.

This is a great book! It came on time and in great condition! It wasn't ripped or written in even though it was used! You can't even tell and for 4.00 even with shipping, you can't beat that!

I read through this book in two sittings....witty, insightful and practical...as a mother I read it to share with my daughter more modern day application of Esther. Wow! I gleaned alot for myself even at this age (over 40)...nice surprise. This is a must read for young girls 11/12+, will set them on the right path! After we go away for our Passport to Purity outing, my daughter is reading this!

My teenage girl's youth group at church are reading this book and studying the Book of Esther. As their teacher, this book has been a wonderful learning tool and really opened the girls up to share their personal stories of what it's like to be a teenage girl in America today. They really enjoy Lisa's writing and have already asked to do another of her books in class. Thanks, Lisa for your book.

This was a great book!!! Even thought I am still reading it, It's already making me think about who I am and what I should be working on I love this book! It tottally makes Gods word fun!

This book covers a wide variety of topics, makes them relevant and understandable, and forces the reader to apply them to daily life. Great to use as a chapter-a-day devotional and encompasses everything a young girl should know!

This book is written for the middle school ag.. hence the reason that the slang is so far off... (as noted in the previous reveiw) It is a great book about becoming a modern day Esther.
