1. Buy everything you can of Boris's. 2. Memorize all the songs (good luck with 'Purple Vulcan Hot Rod'). 3. Beg Rev. Norb to play your town (NREVORB@aol.com). 4. Attend said show (shower Norb with gifts of sweet-tarts) and watch one of the most entertaining and energetic (and intelligent) punk bands on Earth.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perty dern good., February 19, 1999

I popped the CD in, and saw the little CD timer clock thingie on my CD player register the following information:

18 54:33

You know what that means? It means 18 songs, at 54 minutes and 33 seconds total. "BWEEEEEE!" I say, as I wet myself. Remembering how "8 Testicled Pogo Machine" seemed a little too short. Almost an hour of creamy goodness!

Then, they didn't let Rev. Norb do a long intro thing, like on other releases. I was slightly irritated, but at least they let him start it. It reached track 16, which according to the back of the CD casing was the last one... "Hmmm... that wasn't close to an hour". Then, it says something about re-recording, and they play the whole album over on track 17. Then track 18 is a redone version (slightly different, though) of the first "bonus song", "Do The Sprinkler". Needless to say, I feel ripped off... only 25 minutes of real music, I think.

Despite this, it was still a great CD. I'll get over the length issues... The length of their "things" shouldn't add more to the miseries that already trouble the world...

With great music, clever lyrics, and songs like "My Radio Is Telling Me to Kill (Them Guys on the Radio)", "Purple Vulcan Hot Rod", and "(My Baby Put Me in the) Penalty Box", how can you go wrong! And you get to listen to the entire album twice on one play-through.
