Gotta love the Hanson Brothers cds, but if you ever want to see an amazing show, see them live, it doesn't even compare. As for the Ramones comparisons, yeah they do the tribute stuff and all that, but these guys have a ton more talent than the Ramones could have even dreamed of. If you are a fan of hockey and punk as I am you will love the mix of both together, my favorite off here would be Rink Rat, you probably have to listen to the whole cd as most would find their songs hit or miss, depending on what you are into, again see them live if you ever have the chance, you won't be dissapointed.

The Hanson Brothers combine wall rattling punk rock with witty hockey-related lyrics that are sure to put a smile on your face. It sounds like a gimmic but these guys back it up with inventive and high-powered music that stands on it's own. I have a punk record store (Zed Records in Long Beach, Ca) and this is a top seller!

First of all this turned out to not be my kind of music. When I purchased this item I thought I was purchasing a music CD by the Hanson Brothers (the 3 brothers boy band). Instead I found out that this was the Hanson Brothers (the Candian Punk Rock Group). I had no idea that there was two sets of Hanson Brothers singing Groups--The Canadian Hanson Brothers and the American Hanson Brothers. People should be more specific when two groups have the exact same name so that a purchase like this does not happen to some one else.

This CD [...] ! (thank you, megamediaonline!). Okay, if yas never herd of the Hanson Brothers, they take all tha best elements of the Hanson brothers (confused yet? I AM!) in Slap Shot, and the Ramones. What can I say? This aint as great overall as their first, but I (collector's brag)STILL GOT THE PROMOTIONAL PUCK! Songs like Stick Boy and You Can't Hide The Heino (which I thought was a sexual metaphor until i found out he was this German singer) are both totally great songs, and I'll Ask The 8-Ball has their most hilarious Dee Dee Ramone parody (I wonder what all the Ramones thought of these guys; apparently Johnny didn't find these guys too funny, but Johnny had no sense of humor, more so than your AVERAGE Republican even!)
This is supposed to be a mere parody, but most of these songs are really great, totally catchy. I'd recommend the Gross Misconduct CD before this,it's more consistent--it's a classic!-- but, man, these guys are Fantastic! And this is worth it for You Can't Hide The Heino or Stick Boy alone. The Hockey Song and He Looked Alot Like Tiger Williams are great too. [...] Recommended for Ramones fans with a sense of humor!
