BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY,
By
This review is from: Suddenly (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
In SUDDENLY, Christene, a glamorous, well-known, model is accustomed to men's attention. Dr. Max Chandler, a successful doctor who operates a chilren's AIDS clinic/hospital, doesn't want to become involved with someone in a profession as banal as modeling. Seeing a chance to do something more worthwhile with her life, Christene volunteers at Max's clinic and throws herself into the work wholeheartedly. As her presence and dedication make her visible to Max on a daily basis, a stubborn relationship between the two develops. They make a critical false start, and it doesn't work. Over time, they start again and focus their energies on getting it right this time. As with all of her books, in SUDDENLY, Sandra Kitt is able to show emotions and passions in a most vivid way. She is one of the leaders in romantic fiction.

True love can happen so Suddenly!!,
This review is from: Suddenly (Arabesque) (Paperback)
This book my fellow romance readers was the bomb! If you like to see the sparks fly, this book is the one for you. All I can say about Christine is that she is a very determine woman, and she sure knows how to get her man! Max on the other hand is kind of stubborn and thinks he knows everything he wants in the world, and he swears it is not Christine. Well a modified version of the saying "The harder they are the harder they fall," in this case would be 'The more stubborn they are the harder the fall!' Nicely done Kitt, much love and success!

Real, Tender, Steamy!,

This review is from: Suddenly (Arabesque) (Paperback)
This was a real look at how we grow and mature as we are exposed to life. The main characters were as different as night and day and this story made them both change as they evaluated their perception of each other. A truly human story, with a real look at a physical and romantic relationship. An extremely good read.

Good Story But...,

This review is from: Suddenly (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
I liked this story, but the male lead was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to harsh on the leading lady. It really started to get on my nerves after awhile. I would have liked to see him being "nicer and more romantic" a little more vs. the short amount of time we see. Overall, the story engaged me and the characters intrigued me. Worth the time.

Once again, I must say that Ms. Kitt has done a wonderful job. I loved the story line and the characters were well developed. There's nothing like a good ol' love story. Christine was your classic BAP and Max was strong yet sensative. I have started a collection and look forward to adding to it. Please keep writing because you are on my "Authors-to-Read" list.

Suddenly was one of the first African-American romance novels I read over 15 years ago. I love the way Ms. Kitt matured Christine from the self-centered young woman to the caring adult.

Buy Anything Sandra Kitt Writes,
By A Customer
This review is from: Suddenly (Arabesque) (Paperback)
This book was all that, a bag of chips, dip, with cherries and a diet coke. I could see Christine Morrow's beauty, taste in clothes her strengths and weakness as if I was looking at a movie. Max was just the man to set her on the right path. I remember her from one of Kitt's previous books as Alexandra Morrow little sister. It was nice to see her own story. Sandra Kitt is just an awesome writer. BUY THE BOOK!!!

The Harder They Fall,
By
This review is from: Suddenly (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
That is so true to what one reviewer was saying. I think Dr. Chandler was hard on Christine,at first glance. At one point in the book, it was looking pretty bad for her. As the old saying goes, you can't judge a book by it's cover. Christine(Parker's sister-in-law) proved to be more woman the good doctor has ever had. The heart-wretching part of the story, was Wendy. Christine developed a beautiful relationship with her and was heartbroken over her condition. She really changed from the Christine I knew from Sincerly. If you ask me, I think Christine still likes Parker for herself. Before Max,of course.
