Great Story, June 3, 2000
This review is from: Suddenly... Marriage! (Virgin Brides) (Silhouette Romance) (Paperback)
Marie Ferrarella does a wonderful job of enticing the reader into the lives of Grant and Cheyenne. They are a dynamic couple who just can't seem to stay away from each other no matter how hard they try. Cheyenne is a photographer who witnesses a murder. Grant ,who is a lonely millionaire, helps her ellude the murders. The two mistakenly marry during a Mardi Gras wedding ceremony. The story moves along at a great pace and keeps the reader on her toes. This is a wonderful book.

Falling headfirst into a kaleidoscope..., March 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Suddenly... Marriage! (Virgin Brides) (Silhouette Romance) (Paperback)
The heroine compares being at Mardi Gras to falling headfirst into a kaleidoscope. Marie Ferrarella has created a fast delightful journey through New Orleans where the reader is just as surprised as the heroine to witness a murder and to realize that what she thought was a pretend wedding when she hid in the back of the chapel is REAL and she's suddenly married to the hero.

Suddenly...A BUST!, April 9, 2009
This review is from: Suddenly... Marriage! (Virgin Brides) (Silhouette Romance) (Paperback)
Okay yes, I bought this book but (sigh) I found more entertainment in christian romances. Not to say that there isn't sexual "tension" or what not but...the plot was weak. The excuse for marriage barely held up and the hero...he was rich, charming, and nothing special.
Take it from me (I love sappy romances), this book draws the line at where sweet sappy romance and stall suffocating "romance". Do yourself a favor and buy a second book along with this should you decide to ignore my warnings. That way, when it disappoints you, there'll that other book to sooth you over.
I gave it 3 stars because...well, you kind of expect corniness when you buy a book from a series called "Virgin Brides"...just not this much. And the girl, her reason for being a virgin was...decidedly weak and very overlook-able if you ask me. Lastly, nothing--I mean NOTHING in this book was a surprise but at least they threw in some bit about some killer chasing after the woman...
So overall, if you can take a substantial amount of sappiness I say give this book a shoot (but admit it to no one).
